Former CBD exec tapped to lead iconic cannabis magazine High Times

Iconic cannabis magazine High Times has tapped Peter Horvath, former CEO of a nationwide CBD retailer, to lead its pivot into marijuana retail.

High Times Holding Corp. announced the appointment Wednesday, less than two months after he left Ohio-based retailer Green Growth Brands. The departure came as the company sold off most of its nationwide chain of CBD-only kiosks in shopping malls after a lackluster holiday season.

Previously, Horvath was chief commercialization officer at American Eagle Outfitters and chief operating officer for Victoria’s Secret.

High Times now has its third CEO in a little more than a year. Horvath arrives at High Times amid the company’s scramble to attract investors as part of a Regulation A public stock offering.

Yes, at Green growth they paid 120k a kiosk and are sitting on 1.5 million in product. Which are in receivership!
The company did a suicide deal with malls. Couldn’t see that coming???
“Departure ” is a clever word . High times should be ready for some low times .
