Hemp beverage maker acquires alkaline water manufacturer

A North Carolina company that makes carbonated drinks with hempseed oil has acquired a company that bottles high-alkaline water.

Good Hemp of Cornelius, North Carolina, says it has acquired Diamond Creek Group, which will become a wholly owned subsidiary. Diamond Creek is based in Charlotte and makes high-alkaline natural spring water sourced from springs in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

Terms of the acquisition were not released.

The acquisition gives Good Hemp increased retail visibility. Diamond Creek water is available in Food Lion, Harris Teeter and Bi-Lo grocery stores.

Good Hemp says in its announcement that it plans to launch a line of CBD gelcaps under its division Good Hemp Wellness. Good Hemp trades on over-the-counter markets as GHMP.
